I’ve been a graphic designer before I even knew what that was; arranging objects in a creative way, problem solving, brainstorming, appreciating the beauty of symmetry and asymmetry, finding happiness in the perfect shade of orange/red. I came into this life needing to create—It’s an integral part of who I am and a source of much joy.

The landscape of graphic design has changed a lot since I started my career. With the abundance of beautiful stock photography and illustrations, decent prefab logos and website templates that are attractive and user-friendly, it’s easy to think that a graphic designer’s skills are becoming less necessary. I think about that often, but always come to the same conclusion: a lot of people can pixel-push, but not everyone can come up with a unique concept. I can, and it's my favorite part of the process!

I know for certain that good design comes out of experiences: travel, exposure to nature, a desire to explore the past. Creativity is an elusive entity that needs to be nurtured by what we love. 

 

I have the technical skills and expertise to get any job done and to get it done well. Most importantly I love what I do, and it shows in the quality of my work.
